BIO: Damarus "Damar" Knight had thought his life had just about run its course. Nearing retirement, Damar's mind flooded with fears and apprehension. Hard labor had taken its toll, and his body was weaker than he was willing to admit. Despite decades of dedicated service, Damar is unfairly terminated right before his retirement. With crushing debt about to come to a head, Damar felt himself on the edge of a precipice with no means of escape. Societal institutions rather than rendering assistance descended down upon him like a flock of vultures ready to tear the flesh from his corpse.

Fate, however, had different plans. After his truck gives out, Damar is forced to walk back home through an immense lightning storm. A drunk driver swerves nearly missing an electric pole slamming straight into Damar. Damar is sent flying. The driver speeds away leaving Damar for dead on the side of the road. Suddenly, a strange colored fog begins to come into view, and Damar is gone having been swept from one world to another. Damar finds himself, oddly uninjured, in a peculiar land of twilight. Not long after, Damar discovers himself able to shift between states of matter having been reconstructed on the atomic level (hadroformed). With the help of a ryl named, "Zurtænya," Damar finds his way back home. Now with renewed purpose, Damar, once powerless, becomes a symbol of terror, a boogeyman, to those who prey upon others without the means to fight back.
